PAINTING
COMPETITIONS: Drawing
& Painting is the best way of
art to give wings to the imagination
and winning the competition in just
like an icing on the cake. Our budding
painters gave full account of themselves
in various competitions and brought
laurels. |

Karnal International School organized
Drawing and Painting Competition on
27th March 2011 in which Bhagya Sharma
of Class V won 3rd position.
NIFA organized Painting Competition
on 1st Aug.2011 at New Grain Market,
Karnal, in which 6000 children in
different categories participated.
In 4th Category Mansi Khurana of Class
IX won 3rd position. In the same category
Khyati Gupta of Class IX and Mohit
of Class XI NM got the consolation
prize. Vinay Pundir of Class XI NM
also got the consolation prize
Child line India Foundation, Mumbai
organized On the Spot Painting Competition
in the month of Jan.2011. Parikshit
Kundu of Class XI NM enticed the judges
and stole the show by winning 1st
prize in the competition.
Navmeet
Kaur of Class X added one more feather
in the cap of the school by winning
the mega prize in Painting Competition
organized by Navneet Publications
Limited.
JCI
Painting Competition was organized
on 9th Sept and complete team brought
laurels to the school. In group-A
Abhimanyu (IV) got second position,
in group-B Vijay Rana (VII) secured
first position and in group-C Mansi
(IX), Vinay (XI NM) and Navmeet
(X) were on I, II and III positions
respectively. Mohit (XI NM) of the
same group got the consolation prize.
Best Teacher Award for Group B &
C was bagged by the Art Teacher
Mrs.Ruchika Sachdeva.
Rangoli Competition was organized
by Sahodaya School Complex in MNM
Public School, Jundla on 26th Sep.2011.
Bhavna of Class XII won 3rd position.

Decoration and Rangoli competition
on 23rd Oct.2011. Ansh of Class
III got the consolation prize in
Diya Decoration Competition.

on 20th Sept. Our participants Prerna
Suri and Nikhil Nagpal of Class X
proved they had the caliber to make

QUIZ
CONTEST: Brain Teaser
Olympiad and Quiz under the ageis
of Sahodaya School Complex was conducted
by St.Theresa’s Convent Sr.Sec.School,
Karnal on 9th Sep.11 in which around
27 schools participated. Nothing succeeds
like success when the success is spiced
with determination, motivation and
enthusiasm. The unshakable determination
to fight against all odds by maintaining
calm miraculously brought laurels
to the Quiz Robots Shambhav and Shiven
of Class X as they outshined others
and stood 1st in the Contest. |

FOOTBALL:
The lactic performance of the under
-14 Football Team bore fruitful results
when it was announced as Dist Champions.
In the month of Aug. 2011 Yatin Malik
in Under-19 team, Vivek Panwar, Rakesh
Deshwal and Amit Tokas in under -17
team and Sahil, Rahul, Mohit, Pulkit,
Sudhanshu and Shubhanker in under14
team proudly represented Karnal District
by participating in State Level Tournament. |

BALL: In the School
Zonal Tournament held at Karan Stadium,
Karnal the team Under-14 remained
upbeat and became the District Champion.
Rahul Tokas and Akash Under-14 and
Ankush Malik and Sumit Tokas under-17
hurled the school flag high by further
participating at State Level. |

: Skating
Championship was organized by JCI,
Karnal on 11th Sept.11 at S.D.Sr.Sec.
School, Karnal. The Skaters outshined
and returned with 3 Gold, 4 Silver
and I Bronze medals in various individual
events. Keerat Partap and Ananya Shandilya
were awarded with Champion Trophy
for their scintillating performance. |

SKATING: Keerat Partap
of Class X reached the zenith of success
after winning Silver Medal in the
Haryana State Roller Ball Championship
held at Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula
on 15-16 Oct.2011. He added another
feather to his achievements, when
he won 2 Silver Medals in Rink Race
4 & 5 and Gold in Road Race in
Dist.Level Roller Skating Competition
held on 4th and 5th Dec.2011. This
was not his destiny as he tried his
luck at State Level Roller Skating
Competition and tasted the fruits
of success by winning Silver Medal.
Kudos to him.
