BOARDING HOUSE

The school has boarding for both boys and girls. The Boarding Houses are equipped to make the children comfortable and provide recreational facilities. At present the accommodation is available for over 150 boys and 30 girls which will be increased in phases to cater for 300 boys and 100 girls separately. Living in the boarding house is under the strict and close supervision of Housemaster/ Housemistress assisted by resident Matron and an ayah who look after their clothes and hygiene. Common room is part of the same building where the boarders may read, watch T.V and play indoor game. The boys as well
as girls are trained to look after their personal hygiene, clothes and personal belongings.
Boarders are normally taken to the town or organised picnics by the teachers. They are encouraged to develop the importance of proper use of pocket money on these outings.

MESSING
The Central Dining Hall is well furnished with a modern kitchen to provide balanced, nutritious and palatable diet. All resident staff members are present at all meals with the students.

A NORMAL DAY'S MENU WOULD BE
BREAKFAST
Porridge, egg, toast, butter, jam, tea or parontha, dahi / egg, tea.
BREAK Milk/Milk shake / cold drinks and snacks (sandwich/ pakora or cake)
LUNCH Rice and chapaties, vegetables, dal/curd, salad, fresh fruit.
TEA Tea with a daily change of snacks.
DINNER Chapaties, vegetable, dal, dessert or soup, Chapaties, bread, chicken / meat / paneer /cutlets, dessert.
 
MEDICAL CARE

A part-time School Doctor attends to the students daily for routine ailments. Yearly medical checkup is carried out by the Doctor and the report is sent to the parents. A detailed yearly record for every student is maintained by the school.

Students requiring specialised treatment are referred to the specialist. In case of hospitalisation, the parents and local guardians are informed.

Expenditure on tonics, medicines, Injections, X-rays, hospitalisation, operations or treatment by specialist doctor will be billed to parents.

Children in the habit of wetting beds and who require prolonged treatment are not admitted as boarders.
