The medium of instruction is English
and great care is taken to develop
fluency and accuracy in the language.
The importance of Hindi and regional
languages is stressed and a high standard
of proficiency is developed in these
languages. The School prepares boys
and girls for the examinations (X,
XII) conducted by C.B.S.E. Delhi.

At
the Senior Secondary level the school
has engineering and commerce streams,
P C M, and Economics, Business studies
and Accountancy respectively and an
option of taking computer science
or physical education or Fine Arts.

The school has well equipped
Physics, Chemistry, Biology
laboratories and a language
lab. Extensive use of audiovisual
aids is made in teaching. Computer
studies are compulsory from
Class I to X. The teaching is
not confined only to the walls
of classrooms but is also imparted
by physically taking the students
to Banks, Post offices, Railway
station, Research Institutes,
Trade Fairs other Public Utilities
and Industries. |
Remedial
classes for weak students are
conducted throughout the year.
Extra classes are also conducted
during summer vacation (with
an additional payment of nominal
fee) for weak students identified
by the teachers. |

STAFF |
|
Highly
qualified experienced and dedicated staff is employed,
who besides being well trained to instruct in the classroom,
are genial and co-operative and always available to help
the children.

SCHOOL
SESSION AND VACATIONS |

The
school academic year is from April to March. The session
is divided into two terms. The duration of vacations is
as under :

Summer
Vacation (8 weeks), third week of may to second week of July.
Winter Vacation, (3 weeks) third week of dec. to second week
of Jan. In addition to summer and winter vacations, there is
one midterm (Dewali) Tours and Treks break of about 6 days in
October. |

EXAMINATIONS,
REPORTS AND PROMOTIONS |
|
Besides
regular tests, there are examinations at the end of each term
to assess the child's progress. Cumulative marks of all tests,
on the basis of weightage, determine the progress and promotion
of the child.
|
|
|
Promotion
to the next class does not depend on the result of single annual
examination. To quality for promotion a student must fulfill
the following conditions |
|
Should
have made satisfactory progress in English and attained the
pass standards by the end of academic year.
|
|
Should
have attained the pass standard in the compulsory subjects-English,
Mathematics & Hindi. |
|
Should
have attained the prescribed minimum percentage in the aggregate
of all the subjects. |
|
A
student who fails to qualify for promotion will be detained
in the same class if he/she does not become more than a year
above the average age of the class. Withdrawal will be required
if a student fails to quality for promotion for two consecutive
years in the same class. The Principal reserves the right to
detain a student in the same class. |
